“It’s Okay, I know you’re gay. Love, Mom”- Youth Current Event BLOG!

Coming Out

This week I am going to talk about this coming out story that to me was amazing. If you would like to read about it you can go to this website: www.gaystarnews.com/article/moms-heart-warming-surprise-bisexual-daughter100714.

In this coming out story everyone has a way to come out to the parents- some are sad, funny, crying and more it all depends on how you come out to your parents. The way this girl’s mother helped her come out was AMAZING. So how this happened is the mother waited until her daughter came home and the daughter already had in her head that she was going to come out to her mother today. So when the girl got into her room she had a surprised already waiting for her. That was her bed sheets was change and also there was a letter on her bed that said. “It’s okay I know your gay.. love mum xoxo.” To me that would of make me cry because it’s amazing how your mother already know about you before you even came out.

I think it’s true mom’s knows best when something is happening with their child. It’s funny how this girl was so scared to come out to her mother but instead her mother said let me help her out. You maybe think it is hard to come out to your parents, but try them and just see what happens you will maybe be surprised what your parents say or do. Just like this girl when her mother already telling her that I know you are gay and on top of that she even change the girl bed sheets to some wonderful rainbow colors to go alone with telling her I don’t mind you are gay and now you can feel happy about being gay even when you are sleeping. And here are the pictures that the girl took of what her mother wrote.
