Well- here we go again! A new study shows that many people- mainly straight men, still feel as though straight men are “more masculine” than gay men. I ask again, So what?! Honestly, I’ve seen straight “masculine” men don’t act quote unquote “masculine”. You don’t see a gay men posting that now do you? That’s because it’s no big deal!
Anyway, 158 men and women took a social experiment. The study was conducted by Mariana Pinho, a PhD candidate at the University of Lincoln, England. It asked questions to evaluate a fictional man. That is literally the key word in that sentence “fictional.” False, Syfy, not real, need I go on?
The results turned out that men were considered as “more masculine” when he was both heterosexual( straight) and married, and “more feminine” when he was described as gay. Seriously, what a load of fiction. You people must really have nothing else to talk about. As for you straight men, I would love to see how “masculine” you really are. Until then, please don’t stereotype others when they don’t stereotype you!
