Youth Blog: Dinner before Youth Group!

Youth group at Fort Lauderdale was both fun and delicious. We were blessed with a three-course dinner before our group started. My personal thanks to The Church of the Holy Spirit Song for taking time out to do that for us. The food was absolutely delicious. It was a fun get together with friends and with the family(s) that joined us.

Once the time came and our stomachs were full, we all got ready to start the youth group. Kishi, our youth advisor, started us off by reading our group rules. Now normally after that we would do our introductions by stating our name, age, PGP, and then answering the question of the week. Only this time we did not have a question. Our ice breaker this week was called, Socially Appropriate Behavior #sab-  opinion or fact? There were  four large pieces of paper around the room with a different place written on each.

The objective was to write down the behavior you would deem Appropriate for that specific place. Many fun and ridiculous things were written down1 We had our laughs on a few, I nearly started crying with laughter. We stayed talking about that for the rest of the night. It was a great night.

This blog was written by Kayla, a 20 year old member of our Fort Lauderdale Youth Group.

This group meets every Tuesday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
